The Hope For All

This sermon explores the season of Advent as a time of anticipation and arrival, focusing specifically on the theme of hope. Through Luke 15:1-2, we examined how Jesus brought hope to four distinct groups—tax collectors, sinners, Pharisees, and teachers of the law—each waiting for the Messiah with different expectations and different sources of hope. The sermon reminds us that while these groups placed their hope in worldly riches, religious piety, intellectual achievement, or positions of power, Jesus came to offer something far greater: hope for all people, regardless of their background or circumstances.
